AGARTALA, Oct 18 (TIWN): Elaborate traffic arrangements for smooth convenience have kept under strict vigilance across Agartala and other subdivisions.

The blueprint for traffic arrangement during Durga Puja has been kept tight.

During these four days, private vehicles or public transport vehicles are not allowed on main Road between 6 pm and 12 am.

According to the notification, the no entry zones are from Raj Bhawan to Buddha Mandir via North Gate, from Bodhjung Choumuhani to Haradhan Sangha via North Gate, from, Bidurkarta Choumuhani to Haradhan Sangha via Cornel Choumuhani.

Some more areas which are mentioned are from Bhagaban Thakur Choumuhani to Ganaraj Choumuhani via Lalbahadur, from the west zone of Central Jail to Power House crossing via Lalbahadur, from the crossing of Rabindra Bhawan to Bidurkarta, from Asram Choumuhani to Kalyani.

Surjya Choumuhani – Kaman Choumuhani – Bank Choumuhani – Jackson Gate, Narayan Mechanical – Kasaripatti via Motorstand,

Motorstand – Chittaranjan road via Ramthakur Sangha are also included in the no entry zone list.During the Puja celebration all types of Bus, Jeep and other heavy vehicles were urged to move through the mentioned terminal point from evening 6pm to morning 5 am.
