AGARTALA, Oct 17 (TIWN): Kamalpur Bhattacharjee Para Shardoutsav Durga puja which above 300 years old has continued its tradition this year too.

Centering the Durga puja huge numbers of devotees gather here every year and all those who are residing outside Tripura join to celebrate the puja.

Inheritor of the Bhattacharjee family Saurav Bhattacharjee said, "Tradition, culture, history, nostalgia, food-n-funagam all blended in one in our very own Kamalpur Bhattacharjee Para Shardoutsav Durga puja. Surajit Bhattacharjee, "Adu Dadu" as his grandsons and daughters all call him fondly leading the flock still strong at his 85 years age with Suman Bhattacharjee, Rajib Bhattacharjee as the charing the puja committee".
