AGARTALA, Oct 14 (TIWN): BJP Govt not only attempting to abolish Group-D posts but also the existing Group-D employees were heavily deprive in the latest Pay Matrix of the Govt.

In 7^th CPC there is no place for Group-D, but the Govt announced their salaries Rs. 16,000 minimum, whereas before the election Rs. 26,000 was promised.

As a result 2.57 (hike of 0.32 from CPI-M Govt’s 2.25 hike) will not be applicable to them, it’s now clear from Verma Committee report.

The factor for Group-D  started decreasing from 2.56 to 2.40 factor, which clearly says that the Group-D employees were deprived. It is leading massive frustrations as when it was promised around 6077 will be increased. Calculation says hardly Rs 1900 to Rs. 2000”.
