AGARTALA, Oct 13 (TIWN): Exposing Verma Committee report's incomplete sections, teaching staffs various types of pay-scales, Tripura Ex-Finance Minister Badal Choudhury said that this BJP Govt claimed Pay Commission is a total JUMLA.
"Earlier, it was thought 2.57 will be for all but now many things are revealing which will shock the state further. The beginning salary of the teachers who will be recruited now will be less, also they are not getting any provident fund", said Choudhury.
"This is not Pay Commission but a total fraud under Verma Committee's banner, which has been done to all states ruled by BJP. This is no Pay Commission but Modi, Amit Shah, Biplab Deb's JUMLA". he added.
Addressing in a press conference at Melarmath Party Office Badal Choudhury said, "7th Pay Commission had left a great impact on Employees, Pensioners to gain vote banks for BJP ahead of Tripura Assembly Election 2018. If you look at Expert Committee (Verma Committee) report there are many issues which they have mentioned signalling various losses of employees are going to occur in coming days due to the implementation of 2.57 factor after our (CPI-M) 2.25 factor. According to the committee report the 2.57 will not be given to all employees, whereas left Govt's 2.25 were equal for all employees. Verma Committee report also skipped to mention about ADC employees and various employees under Govt undertaken sections".
Choudhury further said, "Verma Committee helped Assam, Manipur, Tripura but in no state 7th Pay Commission could be directly implemented. Actually via Verma Committee the implementations have been stopped in Northeast states and no state yet has got 7th Pay Commission across country".
