BMS Terror : Money extortion, Illegal arms storing at Chandrapur BMS Office : Couple lodged FIR for looting Rs. 1 lakh

AGARTALA, Oct 13 (TIWN): With illegal arms smuggling increased in Tripura, BJP backed organizations are massively engaged in extorting money, threatening people, gathering bundles of money inside offices and this time allegation came against Chandrapur Bus stand BMS Office. A couple has lodged an FIR against BMS leader cum National Motor Driving School owner in West District Biswajit Das (a fraud vehicle driving trainer), S/O-Ramdhan Das of Office Lane for looting Rs. 1 lakh cash with help of BMS members on yesterday evening 6.30 from a businessman Manidip Banerjee. The couple (Manidip Banerjee and his wife) alleged that the BMS activists not only looted their moneys by calling his husband in Chandrapur BMS office, but also have stored the bundle of cashes in an almirah inside the office where many similar bundles were stored along with weapons. Filing an FIR in East Police Station, the victim Manidip Banerjee, resident of Khejur Bagan said, "I was called in phone by Biswajit Das, the owner of Joynagar located National Driving School. I work for Skill Development and Biswajit came to me for a registration purpose. An amount of Rs. 70,000 was given by Biswajit to me for registration purpose but later it was seen that he doesn't have any document related to his business".

"Without PAN card he was running his National Driving school business till day, when I asked he said PAN card using would cause him losses. When I asked him all documents he was delaying the submission and then he asked his money back from me even though I had worked for his project a lot. I assured him that I will return his money but to give me his account number. He didn't give his account number but at night he used to call me and threaten me for money. One day in drunk condition he called me at 10.30 pm and asked his money, I was forced to block his phone number. I sent him message to give account number but he never replied in text".

"On yesterday one phone came from unknown number asking me to help him in registration. I was going to home after whole day's work, but stopped for his work and according to his information I went to Chandrapur and it was BMS office, opposite of TATA Motors. When I went inside, I saw Biswajit Das's friend is sitting inside and then Biswajit Das himself came and looted Rs. 1 lakh from me by threatening". 

Manidip Banerjee said, he was paid on that day of his whole Durga puja works but the all amount which he earned on yesterday was taken by Biswajit Das and the BMS office bearers.

After looting Rs. 1 lakh the BMS leader suggested him, not to file any complaint as "Police is in Pocket" of them.

However, Police have accepted the complaint today and started investigation. Both Manidip Banerjee and his wife have demanded justice to the incident as not only they looted money but also insulted him. The victim also alleged, in similar way in an almirah bundles of cashes were kept in the Chandrapur office, along with weapons.
