AGARTALA, Oct 12 (TIWN): Prepaid auto / taxi service has been launched on Friday at Agartala Airport by Transport Minister Pranajit Singha Roy.

The fare will be Rs. 7.20 per KM. However, it has been said, prepaid taxi also can be book if available.

The auto fares are as : 

1) Airport to Lembuchara : Rs. 150,

2) Airport to Bhubanban : Rs. 110,

3) Airport to Shekerkote : Rs. 230,

4) Airport to Amtali : Rs. 210,

5) Airport to Ranir Bazar : Rs. 230,

6) Airport to Khayerpur : Rs. 210,

7) Airport to Kashipur : 180,

8) Airport to ONGC, Hapania, Camper Bazar : 200,

9) Airport to Ramnagar : Rs. 140,

10) Airport to Krishnangar : Rs. 140,

11) Airport to Nandannagar : Rs. 150,

12) Airport to GB hospital : Rs. 130,

13) Airport to Radhanagar : Rs. 120,

14) Airport to Dukli-Bankamari : Rs. 180,

15) Airport to Badharghat : Rs. 170,

16) Airport to Bordowali : Rs. 170,

17) Airport to Bhattapukur, AD Nagar, Bordowali zone : Rs. 160,

18) Airport to Shibnagar : Rs. 160,

19) Airport to Joynagar, Masterpara : 150,

However, the fare has hiked Rs. 10 to Rs. 20 with the prepaid, but it will ensure the safety of passengers. 

It will lead additional charges too at 20% of the normal fare during night hours.
