AGARTALA, Oct 7 (TIWN): As one week just has left before Durga Puja, various clubs have been geared up with final preparations.

Durga Puja this year is going to be started from October 15 whereas it will be ended with Bijoya Dasami on October 19.

No-Entry in most crowded shopping areas of Agartala across Shakuntala markets were imposed from yesterday evening to control the heavy traffic jam of the city.

Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) has geared up to maintain the cleanliness in Agartala City throughout Durga Puja season and from the next day of Mahalaya the city to be cleaned three times.

Durga idols are getting the final shape and last minutes preparations are in full wave across clubs. At the same time, donation collections are leading heavy troubles for the public when economic crisis situation has gripped the state.
