AGARTALA, Oct 6 (TIWN): Much awaited 7th Pay Commission report has been submitted by Verma Committee to the Chief Minister, but what step State Govt will take after the report opening it's not clear.

Assam Ex-Chief Secretary PP Verma has submitted the report in the presence of Chief Secretary of Tripura L K Gupta.

Now the report will be studied and to be sent to the Centre for fund allocation, but from State Govt side nothing has been clarified whether 7th Pay Commission's implementation is possible before Durga puja or not.

Moreover, from when the effect has been given by the Verma Committee it is yet to be revealed.  In the agreement copy among BJP and Govt employees, pensioners the effect has been shown from January 2016.

Before the Election BJP National President Amit Shah assured that from 4th March, 2018 7th Pay Commission wise salaries to be given to the employees, but till now only report has been submitted out of media pressure, whereas implementation is still on wait.
