Tripura By-Election : Re-polling held at Khowai

KHOWAI, Oct 5 (TIWN): According to Tripura State Election Commission's decision to hold re-polls in two centres, the re-polling was held on Friday.
On Sep-30 the Panchayat poll was held where BJP has won 113 seats out of 130. But being alleged of booth-occupying issue, State Election Commission found it true and announced re-polling after investigation.
The re-polling was conducted at Khowai khamar tilla peacefully amid tight security.
By-election was held for 3386 seats of Panchayat, 161 panchayat samiti and 18 Jila Parisad seats, but 96% seats BJP won by force uncontested.
