AGARTALA, Oct 2 (TIWN): Traffic Police in Agartala followed Gandhibadi style on Gandhi Jayanti to convince the bikers to wear helmets on Tuesday, instead of filing cases or distributing challans.

Bikers who were not wearing helmets the traffic men were seen gifting them red roses requesting to wear helmets.

This a form to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi's non-violence faith on 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. 

Many programmes have been organized today on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. Also school students led by Chief Minister Biplab Deb conducted a massive rally in the morning to mark 150th Gandhi Jayanti.
