AGARTALA, Oct 1 (TIWN): BJP has threatened Soma Biswas, Councilor of Ward No-29 to resign from post within a week, in a press conference CPI-M leader Pabitra Kar has revealed.

In the name of protest BJP recently had shown protest in front of ward no-29 under AMC with various issues,

BJP allegedly forced her (Soma Biswas) to sign in a paper which said if within 7 days certain demands are not fulfilled, she has to resign.

Out of threatening, she was bound to sign on it whereas it’s never possible to fulfill these demands within 7 days.

After Panchayat Election BJP wants to conduct Municipality election and just like Panchayat election, BJP is forcing councilors to resign, said Pabitra Kar.
