AGARTALA, Sep 26 (TIWN): Even though every year awareness against Durga Puja donation collection is being launched by the State Govt of Tripura but the awareness and so called strict warning remains just as 'eyewash' as in the name of "Sera Puja" Govt bodies ultimately awards on the basis of decoration, idol etc.

Neither the previous govt, nor the present govt could bring the budgets of Durga Puja in order and thus open threats are going on even on students who are residing in rents. Without measuring the area clubs go on to increase the budgets of puja. 

Like the previous Govt, Tripura BJP Chief Minister Biplab Deb also has given a strict warning against "chandaraj" of various clubs but question remains, if Govt's intentions are wise, why Puja award committees select the high budget Durga pujas for being awarded ? 

Recently, a tribal boy (Class-7 student) was put in a sack after beating and dumped in a big lake of Udaipur Amarsagar, after he denied to give Rs. 2000 chanda to Pragati club but with miracle he survived after was found by locals.
