AGARTALA, Sep 26 (TIWN): After Tuesday’s(Sep 25) press conference of Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb, now it’s all clear that all the Delhi visits of Tripura with various excuses couldn’t help Tripura to get fund from centre as from PWD to other Depts left “fundless”. 5-6 times Delhi visit and returning in empty hands with “Transforming Tripura” slogan left much faked Vision Document released by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, whereas when CM met Jaitley, he said, how can Centre sanction extra fund for Tripura whereas India has 28 states more. Every week Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s costly Delhi visits along with OSDs and advisors, Secretaries and friends have not at all helped Tripura people to get anything from Delhi, rather public taxes collecting from high fuel prices and other commodities are under waste. No other state’s Chief Minister go repeatedly to other states, rather they send officials or the Dept’s Minister but Tripura CM with various excused from health dept to education himself flies to Delhi, meets personally with the Central Ministers, Prime Minister whereas in return brining nothing.

Instead of managing funds through continuous communications, Biplab Deb is flying to Delhi with full team but Modi has not sanctioned a single penny yet. Earlier PM Modi sanctioned around 500 crores for Tripura, but whereas those moneys were spent nobody knows.

CM while addressing media at Secretariat said, when NHIDCL gets a project it get huge amount but when PWD takes project, Govt gives very less. CM further compared if NHIDCL gets Rs. 53 crores, PWD gets only 10 crores.

However, when the same allegation the previous Govt brought in its time, Modi Govt's rubbished the claim, but today may be mistake but Biplab Deb clearly said, NHIDCL is heavily profited by Central Govt, whereas PWD gets not even 20 % of what NHIDCL gets, seems, Biplab Deb's costly Delhi visits are not helping the state to draw funds.

Talking about the present condition of Central funding on roadway Chief Minister Biplab Deb clearly said, "The roadway was last built and maintained by the previous Govt and I don't have any fund for new road now. Also PWD is left without works since many time, whereas we have requested the Centre to handover some projects to PWD from NHIDCL"

However, CM said, he is hoping Central Govt will release some funds soon to tide the crisis.

No assurance has been received by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in 7th Pay Commission’s funding, even though Jaitley himself unveiled the Vision Document promising 7th pay commission form April month.Chief Minister Biplab Deb as a part of his regular personal Delhi visit again has met also the Prime Minister and discussed on 7th Pay Commission.

Now from smart phones to College set up in each constituencies dubbedas JUMLAs.
