Sweden based Eminent Professor says, 'JUMLA is Modi's biggest contribution(?) for India' : Tripura Public too victim of BJP’s JUMLA, Vision Document biggest FAKE, Mass Cheating to Tripura Voters !!!

AGARTALA, Sep 25 (TIWN): JUMLA Masters Modi, Amit Shah, Deodhar, Biplab, Himanta are now exposed by eminent intellectuals for organizing mass CHEATING, FAKE promises only to grab votes by hook or crook. Professor of Peace and Conflict Research at Uppsala University, Sweden Ashok Swain has written an article citing reason why Modi and Amit Shah led BJP is a Jumla Party, FAKE promises are the only instruments to win elections. Tripura Chief Minister who is often called as "Motormouth" due to his unwanted utterances through a brief has told media how his own Modi Govt deprives PWD funding with at least 80 % less of the deserved amount. Today, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has accepted about the fundless condition of his treasury under Modi Govt. Even after multiple Delhi visits and meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley nothing has been given to Tripura yet by the centre. However, when TIWN has reported on the fundless condition of the treasury and Modi Govt's heavy cheating with Tripura as it has totally stopped funding for the state, BJP backed media are reporting Chief Minister Biplab Deb is managing "floods of Central funding".

Even though during Ayushman Bharat's inauguration, Tripura CM said that 'Modi gave free ration,  free cooking, free road and now free health treatment' but CM while addressing media at Secretariat said, when NHIDCL gets a project it get huge amount but when PWD takes project, Govt gives very less. CM further compared if NHIDCL gets Rs. 53 crores, PWD gets only 10 crores.

However, when the same allegation the previous Govt brought in its time, Modi Govt's rubbished the claim, but today may be mistake but Biplab Deb clearly said, NHIDCL is heavily profited by Central Govt, whereas PWD gets not even 20 % of what NHIDCL gets, seems, Biplab Deb's costly Delhi visits are not helping the state to draw funds.

Talking about the present condition of Central funding on roadway Chief Minister Biplab Deb clearly said, "The roadway was last built and maintained by the previous Govt and I don't have any fund for new road now. Also PWD is left without works since many time, whereas we have requested the Centre to handover some projects to PWD from NHIDCL".

The Professor of Sweden wrote that Modi had come to power primarily by promising to bring "Achhe Din" and promoting "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas", whereas the Modi government is not the first government in India to be blamed for not following up on election-time commitments and also is the first one in India to outrightly belittle its own election promises as jumlas.

Jumla has become a legitimate electoral strategy. There is no doubt that Modi and his confidante Amit Shah have banished morality from India’s political lexicon in the past four years. After the BJP came to power, the use of massive financial resources, deceitful management of the media and spread of fake news have increased manifold for garnering electoral benefits.

Deep ideological divergences are being pushed aside to make post-election alliances to grab power at any cost. India is for the first time witnessing a situation that the ruling political party is openly boasting about its power to poach elected representatives of Opposition parties to grab power. The lack of hesitation in using the Saam, Daam, Dand, Bhed principle by the Modi-Shah duo to win elections after elections have resulted in a deep crisis for India’s democracy, as it has wiped out even the semblance of morality in country’s political landscape.

Thanks to majoritarian populism, power has been fast slipping out of the people’s hands. As Socrates had described, morality and democracy carry the same meaning — rule over oneself. Democratic governments are the governments based on morality.

Democracy of a country is stable when all important political stakeholders carry certain political morals, and in most cases they obey the basic rules of the democratic game. For four years now, in the line of his populist call to break the status quo, Modi has refused to play according to the established but unwritten norms and principles of Indian democracy. Modi’s war-cry of "Congress-mukt Bharat" is nothing but open declaration of an all-out war against the Opposition. To achieve his aim, Modi is following the principles of "all is fair in love and war" and going after Opposition parties ruthlessly using all sorts of means at his command.
