AGARTALA, Sep 24 (TIWN): With various demands, blind school students of Agartala staged a protest on Monday.
Even though the school is ageold and running since 1972, but no proper infrastructure and living environment has been created with standard education system.
While agitating the students said, they don't have any permanent Principal in the school and the present temporary Principal is in leave for 20 days. The students also demanded a man Principal instead of woman.
No proper infrastructure, no school ground, no sweeper, pathetic drinking water condition etc have been alleged.
There is also lack of safety which had killed one student Rakesh Das in the last year, said the students.
With all these demands, the students have gone in protest appealing Social Welfare Minister Santana Chakma to visit the school once.
