AGARTALA, Sep 22 (TIWN): When hefty amounts are being spent over many “extraordinary” activities under BJP Govt including show-off prayers in the name of religion, state’s treasury left empty with ‘fake’ Vision Document promises of the Jumla Party. Chief Minister Biplab Deb before around 2 months said, State Govt is negotiating with companies regarding smart phone purchasing which will be given to the youths in exchange of votes. When maximum youths have voted for BJP,IPFT but the smart phones yet to be introduced by the Govt.Question raises when the negotiation with companies will be ended ?

Before election it was highlighted in bold letters of Vision Document that ‘smart phones will be given to each youths’ if they vote for BJP to ‘power’, but after getting power the charge has been down saying the ‘treasury is empty’.

On the one side, when Govt employees who were waiting for 7th pay commission in Durga puja, were upset as Verma Committee failed to submit report card. Youths are waiting for smart phones as BJP before coming in power said so.

Durga Puja is going to be started from October 15 but out of 10 promises said in the Vision Document, not a single has been fulfilled till now.

When it comes about DA and 7th Pay Commission, same issue of fund crisis is being placed before the people, whereas Modi Govt has looted above 11 lakhs crores from petrol, diesel price hike. Even though BJP led govt in Tripura assured to give 7th Pay Commission from March 4, once it comes it comes power, but Pay Commission was postponed many times in the name of Verma Committee's failure to submit report. However, it has been informed by Finance Dept that Verma Committee which crossed deadline to submit report on 7th Pay Commission on August 31st,  again was rewarded with more four months to submit report. So on December, 2018 the committee led by Assam Ex-Chief Secretary P P Verma can submit its report.

However, regarding the date extension of Verma Committee's report submission no notification was released, but Finance Minister Jishnu Debbarma verbally said about the extension, mentioning further, 'As soon as the report will come, 7th Pay Commission will be given". However when 7th Pay Commission has been delayed till December-2018, this year's July month’s DA has not been given to the employees. As a result neither DA nor 7th Pay Commission was given to the employees led massive frustration among the Govt employees. Central Govt employees are protesting even after getting DA for two times recently but here in case of Tripura employees are afraid to raise voice. Cenral Govt employees have protested on the 2 % DA increase, as they had been expecting 9 % DA hike. In the contrary Tripura Govt employees voted BJP in power for 7th pay Commission but now yearly DA yet to be given.
