AGARTALA, Sep 5 (TIWN): BJP cheated Tripura people by JUMLA promises to bag Assembly Election votes, now after losing mass support base, ahead of Panchayat Election, BJP is applying muscle power via Hooligans to scare all Opposition workers so that BJP can win without any opposition candidates. As said by BJP Yuva Morcha leader Joylal Das that no CPI-M candidate will be able to stand in the Election, Tripura is undergoing massive goondaraj of BJP, RSS ahead of poll. The first election under BJP govt as expected has been started with massive rigging, attacks upon the opposition. In the press release of Election Commission also it was written within bracket Election will be held on Sep 30, Oct 1 (if necessary) and when DBO called meeting of all parties at Bamutia block office, ruling BJP in broad day light stopped the meeting by force asking BDO who asked him to call ‘all party meeting’. First CPI-M criticised the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party for "forcible resignations of the elected representatives belonging to opposition parties." Around 96 per cent of the total elected representatives of CPI-M and other non-BJP parties were forced to resign following BJP leaders' and workers' threat after the saffron party-led coalition government assumed office in March.

CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar said such election with huge seats never happened earlier anywhere in India.

CPI-M also expressed doubt whether any election will be conducted in democratic manner, but when CM was asked, he said that CPI-M is doing astrology over the election situation whereas not a single political murder took place in Tripura under BJP Govt, whereas in reality at least 5 murder held in last 5 months.

Oppositions were not allowed to collect nomination papers in a block on Tuesday, where the BDO called an All Party meeting. The attack was launched by around 50 miscreants at Bamutia block office to "make sure" no opposition party can submit nominations in the upcoming Panchayat Election and attack was done by entering the room of BDO and then the team had expanded with 100 people. As a result the meeting couldn't be conducted and postponed seeing the seriousness of the situation. Following the incident Congress had gheraoed the DM Office in Agartala protesting over the attack held upon Congress and in the afternoon, CPI-M leaders led by Ex-Deputy Speaker Pabitra Kar submitted a deputation to DM Sandeep Mahatme.

Pabitra Kar told TIWN, "The BDO of Bamutia blocked had called a meeting among all parties at his office today. So, from CPI-M we sent four members and also other parties members were there. At around 10.15 am when the meeting started, above 50 people entered the BDO room an threatened us to leave".

"They openly said, nobody should take nomination papers and can stand in the election. The attackers numbers multipled in around 100 then. The BDO was bound to stop the meeting and all left the office. When opposition members were returning, along with threats, unwanted languages they (BJP) also checked bags whether anybody is carrying nomination papers with them. So complaining about that incident we met the DM and he also has assured us that proper inquiry will be done in this incident", Kar told TIWN.

On the other side as 3 Congress leaders faced the attack in the block office, they gheraoed the DM-office.

Infact Tripura Election Commission has appointed an RSS follower, BJP association’s leader in election works.
