AGARTALA, Aug 27 (TIWN): 40 years man Swapan Shil who was killed brutally on yesterday in Agartala's rural area of Srinagar, was killed in suspect for being in illicit relationship with murderer's wife.

Killer Bhajan Shil has surrendered before police today, accepted guilt. He alleged,, killed Swapan Shil was in illicit relation with his wife Champa Shil since two years and his wife recently made passport to elope with late Swapan Shil. 

Police will produce him before the court on tomorrow.

At first local people saw the body on yesterday with severe injuries on head and called police. 

Total 58 murders have taken place in Tripura in last 5 months.
