AGARTALA, Aug 27 (TIWN): Centering extra-favour of Dept against transfer of a Food Dept employee, chaos has hit the Director's office when other employees protested against Dalia Chakraborty's alleged transfer-scam.

With certain deputations the employees went to Debasish Basu, the Director of Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs. But when Basu found cameramen with them, he scolded the employees heavily and lost temper.

The agitated employees told media, "Dalia Chakraborty is working in a same office since 29 years and recently was transferred. First she was transferred at Dharmanagar and from there she was transferred to Udaipur and then in Bishalgarh. 22-August was the releasing date of her, but she has not gone. Why Dept is favouring her ? She has no right to sit in the chair", said the agitated employees mentioning corruptions and 'file exchanging' in her presence.
