AGARTALA, Aug 26 (TIWN): One 40 years man Swapan Shil was brutally killed in Agartala's rural area of Anandanagar under Srinagar PS.

His body was left in a drain after murdering, but when the incident took place it's unknown. The dead body was recovered in the late morning.  

At first local people saw the body with severe injuries on head and called police. Swapan Shil was in formal attires like official wearing. 

Police is still clueless about the culprits and have taken his body for post mortem. 

Srinagar police is investigating the case.

Above 50 murders have taken place in Tripura in last 5 months.
