AGARTALA, Aug 26 (TIWN): Radarless BJP’s Comedy show has begun in Tripura with full wave ahead of Lok Sabha Election. Instead of providing jobs to the unemployed youths, giving works to the poor, MGNREGA mandays and various promises like smart phones, 7th Pay Commission, regularization of contractual employees. BJP is trying to drag the attention with 'Atal Kalsh Yatra', 'Maha-Santi-Jogya' etc. Too much Bhakti with Sadhus and Babas are no more helping the vote banks in reality as most of the people are fuming over Govt's silent on the promised issues and dragging of the attention. During the 'Jogyo' also a photo former Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee was kept and when asked, the BJP leaders mentioned prayers also have been offered for Vajpayee's soul's peace. Amid all the Bhrahmins, Sadhus, Munis, Rishis CM Biplab Deb was offering the 'ahuti' seeking peace for the whole world. Also a Narayan Seva (Veg lunch) was organized for the 'Bhakts' and cooking was going on beside. The 'Jogyo' was observed at Amtali school ground and the arrangement included VIP sofas to lunch.
BJP claimed, it was organized not by Viswa Hindu Parishad but BJP Suryamaninagar division has arranged it, whereas in the last year in the same place the same 'Jogyo' was conducted by Viswa Hindu Parishad.
However, for religious aspects funds are flowing but when it comes about pre-poll promises then the treasury becomes empty allegedly due the 'communist ruling'.
Right now Tripura tops in unemployment, the Govt is massively terminating people from jobs, all ongoing recruitment process has been cancelled or postponed, almost No-MGNREGA work, massive fuel hike, road tax ! In this situation with 'dramas' and 'dharmas' public are unlikely to be satisfied.
