AGARTALA, Aug 26 (TIWN): To fool masses on Feb 11, 2018 just 1 week before the Election on Feb , BJP led by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said that in the first cabinet meeting 7th Pay Commission will be given to the employees and pensioners once BJP is voted to power but it is over 5 months that the Govt has failed to give 7th Pay Commission. Only 4 days left that Verma Committee will have to submit the report of 7th pay Commission, but the failure of Verma Committee has stopped the whole process. On the other side, Tripura Govt has said, as soon as Verma will submit the report 7th Pay Commission will be given and in the budget, funds also have been kept for it. But after increasing report submission's time for two times, there is no sign whether Committee can submit the report to the State Govt within August 31st or not. On July 29, after Verma Committee failed to submit 7th Pay Commission report in time, Law Minister Ratan Lal Nath declared that State Govt has extended the deadline till August 31st for Verma Committee as there were some ‘complexities faced by the Committee’ during report preparation.

On the other side, Finance Minister Jishnu Debbarma has assured, before Durga Puja 7th pay commission will be given to the employees and pensioners. Now with all these, after above 5 months of completion, employees and pensioners are eying for Verma Committee’s report submission within August 31st.

On the other side, Finance Minister Jishnu Debbarma has assured, before Durga Puja 7th pay commission will be given to the employees and pensioners.

Now with all these, after above 5 months of completion, employees and pensioners are eying for Verma Committee’s report submission within August 31st.

On July 29, Ratan Lal Nath while replying media questions regarding a viral post in social media which said that the 7th Pay Commission report has been submitted already, said, “No report has been submitted on 7th Pay Commission, rather Govt has extended the report submission time up to 31st August, 2018”.

The Education Minister also said, before the report submission State Govt can not take any action, but as soon as the report will come the Govt will start working on this.

On the one side, hopes of unemployed youths are turning in frustration and on the other side, employees, pensioners waiting for 7th Pay Commission. Other promises as Rs. 2000 per social pension and wages at rs. 340 minimum are there.

Since Tripura Finance Minsiter Jishnu Debbarma said, 7th Pay Commission will be given to employees before Durga Puja, the Govt employees are dreaming a ‘Honey Festival’ for their first time in life. Another BJP leader Pratima Bhowmik has also said on July 24 that7th pay Commission will be before Durga Puja. But in reality when month of August is running at the end of August, i.e. 31st August the Verma Committee likely to submit the report.

First the BJP Govt said that 7th Pay Commission will be given within 100 days of Govt formation, which has now crossed  5 months. But giving few sets of Jumla-jokes, now the employees are eyeing for Durga Puja for 7th Pay Commission. If before Durga Puja they can not give, then the reaction of employees not to be on behalf.

State employees and pensioners are eyeing for 7th pay commission's implementation.
