AGARTALA, Aug 25 (TIWN): BJP’s women wing Mohila Morcha activists led by Papiya Datta have tied Rakhis on the hands of country’s soldiers to mark the auspicious occasion.

The celebration was observed at Akhaura Checkpost in Agartala.

Rakhi Purnimaa celebration has been started from today in Tripura to be continued till tomorrow.

Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi is an Indian and Nepalese festival centred around the tying of a thread, bracelet or talisman on the wrist as a form of bond and ritual protection.
