AGARTALA, Aug 25 (TIWN): A day long power cut has hit the capital city Agartala on Saturday.
It was said that due to some govt work the connection was temporarily cut. Most affected area is the Banamalipur and Jail road, Math Chowmuhani areas.
The issue raised as the power cut problem is day by day increasing even in the capital city. During night hours also hour long power cut haunts locals.
Still the situation is far better in the capital city, whereas other parts of the state are suffering hugely.
Died situations of Govt controlled power plants have worsened the problem.
Chief Minister Biplab Deb after assuming charge as CM assured that soon a project to be started with Howrah river which will control the flood and at the same time will generate power.
