AGARTALA, Aug 25 (TIWN): Indirectly, but Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb has once again targeted Manik Sarkar saying ‘He is the man (without taking name) behind the ganja smuggling, plantation. "I will tell the whole country by holding press conference at Delhi. They ask me, what I have done in 5 months, but my question is who planted ganjas in last 25 years in Tripura ? Did I ?? I will tell 125 crores people of India that he is that man behind these ganja plantation".Now this is the second time that CM repeated that allegation again. On the other side, CPI-M holding a press conference after state committee meeting has hit the BJP Govt for the ongoing job-drought, cancellation of recruitment process and massive termination of employees from contractual govt posts.
Addressing in a press conference at Melarmath, Gautam Das said, “There are reports of massive job cancellation under the BJP Govt and the same time job recruitment is halting due to govt decision of cancellation of all recruitment process, which included those interviews which were already completed and offer letters were ready to be released”.
Addressing media at Melarmath HQ, Karat stated, "Since the Modi Govt has been in power at Centre, price hike is leading mass problems across the Country. Poor farmers are not getting proper price of their crops. They are even unable to get the minimum cost of their products. Out of frustrations farmers are bound to commit suicide; recently many suicide cases have come out. LPG, Petrol, Diesel prices are increasing everyday. Value of rupees has totally been down. When they promises 2 crores job per year, unemployment toll is spiking up. Ultimately common men are the sufferers".
Recently after Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb during Haj Bhawan’s inauguration programme at Agartala said, “Manik Sarkar was playing role as Dhritarashtra in illegal smuggling and passed his 20 years of Chief Ministry by smuggling ganja and phensedyl to neighboring Bangladesh to destroy the Muslim youths at there”, opposition CPI-M has come with massive reactions.
