AGARTALA, Aug 14 (TIWN): Tripura’s Job aspirant youths are losing hopes as all ongoing recruitment processes were stopped after 5 months of BJP Govt causing heavy losses of time, energy, money of job aspirants. Job aspirants in Tripura are becoming intolerant after long waits in High Court, Supreme Court during the CPI-M era and now finally with shocks received from Jumla strike of BJP Govt. Since the Election period, recruitments which were stopped had been postponed by new BJP Govt and after 5 months suddenly one day Law Minister Ratan Lal Nath on August 3 had announced that all the ongoing recruitment processes have been cancelled led mass anger and resentment among job aspirants, who were focused on Govt jobs indeed, due to lack of industries in the State. Chief Minister Biplab Deb has dreamt a “Model State”, a state free from “Addiction”, but what the young people need is “A Job”, a secured “Future” and immediate recruitments in Govt Depts.

CM said, Tripura will become a Business hub from 2020 as soon as the Feni river bridge will be inaugurated, but problem is Tripura youths unready to believe any promise by the politicians and all they want is "Job".

Long long claims were done since CPI-M’s era with Palatana power plant inauguration, which however resulted all outsiders job-section. From Urea plant to South East Asia gateway terms applauded each time the youths but result is Tripura tops in unemployment rate.

Visions with Queen Pineapple may entertain the people who are already settled in life, but not for the unemployed youths.

Unemployment rate is further increasing in state with more graduates and HS passed outs in this year. Centre For Monitoring Indian Economy Pvt. Ltd (CMIE) monthly report has once again topped Tripura with 22.8 %, which is not only highest in the country but also at least 6 % more than the second ranking state in unemployment Haryana 16.8 %.

In the 3rd ranking it’s Jammu & Kashmir with 13.2 % whereas Himachal Pradesh comes with 11.8 % and Rajasthan with 10.1 %. Other states of India ranks below 9 % whereas Goa, Puducherry have no unemployment. This was the report of last 30 days according to CMIE.

Tripura's top-ranking is however continuing from last few financial years. However, the ruling govt has alleged a total collapse of state economy in the last 20-30 years where govt job was kept as the single option for livelihood. In this situation, how far the new govt will be able to invite industrialists and manage foreign investments in state, it’s the most challenging job for the govt.
