AGARTALA, Aug 13 (TIWN): With another major blow to the five months old BJP Govt of Tripura, High Court has clearly instructed State Govt that it has no right to snatch organizations’ institutions’ fundamental rights of raising vice, such has been claimed by INPT today in a press conference.
According to INPT President Bijay Hrangkhawl, court has given verdict in INPT’s favour after INPT was not permitted to hold a rally on June 28, 2018.
Thus, INPT will also organize a rally on August 25 at Agartala voicing against violation of constitution under BJP Govt.
INPT filed a case against state govt after police didn’t permit them to stage protest in the Capital City Agartala on June 28 and on the fourth hearing INPT has won the verdict, claimed Hrangkhawl .
INPT President Bijay Hrangkhawl on that time said that there was absolutely no reason for not giving permission as the protest was about various demands from the state govt and the attitude of not allowing opposition to hold protest itself proves BJP-govt doesn’t believe in democracy.
INPT further said that they will demand NRC and will go to Delhi with those demands.
