UDAIPUR, Aug 13 (TIWN): Colouful celebrations of Independence Day has been organized for Amarpur, Udaipur subdivisions under Gomati District this year.

Final rehearsal with parades and dances were completed at both the subdivisions.

The whole preparation was observed by DM Tarun Kanti Debnath, SDM Subashish Banerjee, Social activist Jiten Majumder and other dignitaries. 

Udaipur Press Club and Neheru Yuva Kendra representatives were also present on that occasion.

This year, for the first time District level tableaus will be organized at there.

The Chief Minister will also be invited on that occasion as there will be an attractive boating competition at the Jagannath Bari lake.
