AGARTALA, Aug 13 (TIWN): 1451 police job aspirant youths have been victimized by the newly charged BJP Govt in the name of “Fresh Recruitment” cancelling all the existing recruitment of state Tripura. When unemployment toll is spiking up, Tripura BJP Govt’s betray to job aspirants have hit the dreams of many including Police, TCS, TPS job aspirants. The only new thing in BJP Govt’s “New Recruitment Policy” was the “Videography of viva Tests” and introduction of written tests in Group-C and Group-D recruitment. But there were no much changes in case of Defence jobs or TPSC led exams and for those the whole process’s termination was not only unnecessary but indeed brutal. But in those cases also, the whole recruitment process was banished in a Govt order of August 3rd, where even two years of pending recruitment process was cancelled. 1451 numbers of Police job aspirants on Monday have met the press at Agartala Press Club raising a serious issue through which they are undergoing right now. However, they are ready to wait for more 1 month with 'hopes'.

They raised question how Govt order can cancel their jobs when Chief Minister Biplab Deb in Janata Durbar three times assured the job aspirants “Not to Worry” and Govt will recruit them soon. 

“We always wanted to wear Police’s uniform. We want to dedicate ourselves for the Nation and thus we always applied for police jobs”, said the victims.

Addressing media, the job aspirants said, “In 2017 March 6 a notification was given by the Police Headquarter and an interview was proceeded. Centering that notification, we took preparation for 3 to 4 months covering physical and theory subjects. Written, physical, medical all tests we had passed”.

“On April 9, 2017 the interview had begun from Kanchanpur whereas on July 14 the recruitment was completed at the West District. Out of 25000 candidates, we passed the tests and finally we were said that within 6 months we will be provided with offer letters, but the previous Govt had delayed the issue and soon election date was declared”.

 “As election date was declared, so nothing was in our hand and after election ended we met new Chief Minister Biplab Deb three times and in each time he promised us that Govt will look into the matter soon. He didn’t tell us that our recruitment process will be cancelled”.

The job aspirants said that they are undergoing heavy mental pressures and they are on the verges of destroy their family’s hopes.

On August 3, Tripura cabinet had decided to introduce new recruitment process with the recently announced New Recruitment Policy, cancelling all the ongoing recruitment.

The decision led massive frustration as many candidates had already passed the whole interview and were waiting for appointment letter.
