AGARTALA, Aug 12 (TIWN): Opposition CPI-M backed Govt employees unit has protested against the cancellation of pension scheme by the new BJP Govt in the name of implementing National Pension System. At the same time CPI-M also has demanded to cancel the order of Job-review after 30 years completion of jobs of all Govt employees. A rally was conducted slamming the BJP Govt for its various anti-people decisions which are hitting the common men each day from price hike to job-crisis. The BJP Govt has decided to review Govt Employees jobs after 30 years of completion which is a very brutal trick to keep employees under ‘Sangh’. The people who will not be under Sangh will be terminated, such has been feared by Govt employees. However, their fear gets ground after Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath on Sunday in a programme which was backed by BJP-union of ASHA workers held at Agartala said, “Around 300 Asha workers are here whereas around 400 staffs are there. You stay Sanga-Bahha, stay united”. Another fight was attacked BSNL main office at North Gate when BMS attacked on CPI-M backed union leader.

Tripura BJP Govt turning more inhuman than earlier CPI-M Govt as one after another Govt amenities are being wiped off by new Govt. BJP Govt has introduced 2004’s Central Pension Policy in Tripura for Govt employees who have been appointed from 1st July, 2018 are not eligible for some key benefits.

The decision has been slammed by the job aspirants and newly appointed employees. Amid limited funds, going against the Central Govt Tripura CPI-M Govt had never removed the pension facility for employees, but within 4 months of taking charge BJP Govt even though could not give 7th Pay Commission, neither could recruit people in new posts but it has successfully changed the Pension rule for pensioners so that Pensioners are deprived off GPF and other benefits.

From Friday the hiked taxes has been imposed on Piped Natural Gas (PNG) and Compressed natural Gas (CNG). Earlier the CNG price was Rs. 41 per kg, whereas it's from now will be Rs. 44, thus 3 rupees above than the earlier. Now, in case o Piped Natural Gas (PNG) it was earlier Rs. 17.50 now it's Rs. 19. At the same time, CNG stations are less in number leading heavy rows of autos everyday in front of the CNG stations everyday. Demand has raised for increasing more numbers of CNG stations. In case of uses of PNG in Govt Quarter it has been hiked from Rs. 22 to Rs. 25.  In the last 5 months, but not a single paisa was hiked for employees or for allowances as promised by BJP before the Election but commodity prices are heavily increasing. With the price hike oppositions are mocking at "Achhee Din" and "Hira" promise of Prime Minister Modi to the Nation and to the state Tripura. It was on July 26 that Tripura cabinet had decided to bring ordinance to hike 2 % cess on Petrol, Diesel, Natural Gas. However, the collected whole revenues will be used in road repairing. Now it's to be seen how far transformation in road repairing comes out with the taxes to be collected from masses.

BJP before coming in power promised that once it makes a Govt here, wages, allowances will be massively hiked. Social pension will be at least Rs.2000, Wage : Rs. 340 along 7th Pay Commission for Govt employees, but all those promises are still pending whereas commodity prices are skyrocketing due to a constant fuel price hike.
