AGARTALA, July 29 (TIWN): Akshay Kumar while encouraging athletes for the upcoming Asian Games said, "The gymnast who made India proud at the Rio Olympics two years".

To promote his upcoming film Gold, which has the backdrop of hockey, Akshay Kumar hosted a special send-off for all the athletes on yesterday who are heading for the Asian Games in Indonesia. During the promotion event Kumar had said this about Dipa, further wishing her for 'best performance' in Asian Games. 

Asian Games 2018 will take place from August 18 to September 2 in the Indonesian cities of Jakarta and Palembang. A total of 541 athletes from India will be seen participating in 37 sports events.
