AGARTALA, July 29 (TIWN): On the four months of Govt formation BJP led State Govt for the first time in Tripura has allocated seats for OBC students on the basis of Reservation.

BJP before the Election, BJP held many protest against former CPI-M Govt to introduce Reservation for OBC.

Addressing in Pragna Bhawan on Saturday which was conducted for the ST students who were qualified for B.Ed courses, Ratan Lal Nath said, “Our Govt cares for Tribals but we are giving first priority in the Education. Total 150 students are being sent now and more 50 will be sent later. In the same way, for OBC which is under my Dept 150 seats have been allocated and for SC which is under CM is also the same. In case of Muslims 300 seats we have allocated”.

Noteworthy, Tripura State Govt has decided to bear all expenses of poor, talented students for B.Ed course along with two years more expenses after B.Ed completion which will help the student to get a job under Chief Minister’s 'Anuprerona Yojna' and the students are sent on that basis.
