AGARTALA, July 27 (TIWN): Lieutenant General Abhay Krishna, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, SM, VSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief Eastern Command is on a three day visit to the state of Tripura with effect from 27-29 Jul 2018.

The General Officer, during the visit will be accompanied by senior army officials.  The General Officer will have an extensive discussion with Government Officials and Commanders of Army , Assam Rifles  and other security agencies operating in the region.

General Officer arrived at Agartala in afternoon on 27 Jul 18. He will also call on Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri Biplab Kumar Deb on 28 Jul 18 to discuss overall security situation in North East .
