Agartala, September 12 (TIWN): Unknown miscreants attacked a TV Journalist
a short while ago in Agartala. He was seriously injured and taken for citiscan at GBP hospital, as advised by the doctors.

However police had reached the spot and started investigation. It is to be mentioned that the injured journalist Samrat Chowdhury is working at Local News Channel. While returning home tonight from office suddenly some unknown miscreants blocked his road and started beaten him. Miscreants escaped,  Samrat was immediately taken to GBP hospital for quick treatment. He was grevious injured on the body including head and face. On the advice of Doctor Citiscan has been done. After that doctors released him to home.

It is suspected that on the basis of the news of CPU stolen from Secretariat this kind of attack has raised on some journalists. It is also known that Samrat got threatenings since few days by some unknown persons. Police had started investigation.
