AGARTALA, July 16 (TIWN): IPFT and IPFT-Tipraha both parties to observe their Tipraland Day or Statehood Demand day on August 23.

Earlier, there was only one party named IPFT led by NC Debbarma as the Party President and later due to some internal clashes and in arguments with NC Debbarma a section of IPFT have formed a new party named IPFT-Tipraha.

On yesterday, the IPFT-Tipraha leader Budhu Debbarma raised question on NC Debbarma’s silence about Tipraland demand in the last two Assemblies further announcing to observe  Statehood Demand Day separately on August 23.

However, both the parties will observe their statehood day on August 23 but in separate places.
