NEW DELHI / AGARTALA, September 12 (TIWN):10,323 teacher termination case hearing was adjourned due to the shortage of time. The next date of hearing will soon be declared by the Supreme Court. The case was first heared in the month of August. After that today i.e. 12th September is scheduled for the next hearing.Tripura High Court on May 7th issued an order for the termination of services of 10,323 teachers as the State government didn't follow the justified process for their selection.
After that Tripura Government appealed to the Supreme Court to take proper action on the termination issue of the teachers. Accordingly the Court on its first hearing declared to put stay order in the case and decided the next day of hearing on 12th September.
In addition to these the Government also rejected the advanced wage of Pre-Puja bonus for these 10,323 teachers.
