AGARTALA, July 7 (TIWN): CPI-M backed student unions SFI, TSU have placed a deputation to the Minority Welfare Dept’s Director for delay in merit list out for minority students admission in few courses.

According to SFI & TSU, one notification was circulated for minority students’ admission but even though the last date of admission is on July 8, till day the Dept couldn’t declare the merit list.

The 30 seats were reserved for minority students on the basis of B.Ed, D.Led, Paramedical courses, but till day they couldn’t reveal the merit list.

With the demand of merit list’s declaration, SFI, TSU placed deputation to the Director of Minority Welfare.
