AGARTALA, July 1 (TIWN): Tripura Health Minister Sudip Barman on Doctors’ Day has declared that state’s Health service which is left in deplorable shape will meet with total facilities within 3 years.
“Within 3 years the service will reach at the grass level”, he said while addressing at Pragna Bhawan.
The Health Minister also said as he is the commandant of Doctors, so all liabilities go to him first.
Health Minister further praised state’s doctors for their efforts to upgrade the health service.
The National Doctors' Day is a day celebrated to recognize the contributions of physicians to individual lives and communities. The date may vary from nation to nation depending on the event of commemoration used to mark the day.
It’s celebrated on July 1st, which is also the birth and death anniversary of Bidhan Chandra Roy MRCP, FRCS; was the second Chief Minister of West Bengal in India. He remained in his post for 14 years as an Indian National Congress candidate, from 1948 until his death in 1962. He was an alumnus of the Calcutta Medical college.
