New Delhi, Sept 10 (TIWN): The Editors Guild has promised to investigate the threats faced by www.tripurainfoway.com to close down.

Rajdeep Sardesai, who has been the President of the Editors Guild, has informed TIWN that the Guild is looking into the threats faced by the website.

His response followed a formal complaint to the Guild about threats and pressure from various quarters to close down the website after it published the Book purchase scam involving books written by the Chief Minister Manik Sarkar and the former Chief Secretary Sanjoy Kumar Panda.

TIWN staffers have received many calls from unidentified sources asking them to stop working for the website. Even journalists are under pressure to stop working or not to file stories for TIWN.
