AGARTALA, June 30 (TIWN): The 48 hours long internet suspension since Thursday evening has been continuing in Tripura on Saturday.

Public are expecting the resuming of internet service from the evening. State Govt had suspended internet, sms service in Tripura for 48 hours to stop rumours followed by various murders.

According to govt and police, social media led rumour mongering are spreading mass tension among the common men with baseless facts. Total 4 persons have been killed in mob-violence across Tripura followed by rumours.
