AGARTALA, June 28 (TIWN): Tripura CPI-M has demanded strict legal action against Law Minister Ratan Lal Nath for his irresponsible statement before media which led various mob violence in state in last 24 hours. Following the killing of Bihar worker in mob attack which left more three persons injured today at Sedhai, Mohanpur CPI-M spokesperson Gautam Das drawing DGP A K Shukla's attention said, “It’s quite unfortunate that from TSR camp where the attacked people took shelter mob entered there and killed and injured them. On yesterday total 9 violence took place across Udaipur, Hapania, Khowai and some other places including one engineer. We place Law Minister Ratan Lal Nath behind the murders”.The CPI-M spokesperson also demanded, either Ratan Lal Nath should be removed form his Ministry or he must himself resign now after killing so many.

“Since Ratan Lal Nath’s statement that smugglers took away the kidney of that 10 years boy Purna Biswas the violence has been triggered more. Only and only Ratan Lal Nath is responsible for those murders”, Gautam Das told media at Melarmath party office.

Gautam Das also alleged, Ratan Lal Nath had warned one hawker of ‘Daily Deser Katha’ to stop distribution of it or his body will be found in Bangladesh. Das also accused him behind all works as bulldozing of party offices, threatening people for being murdered if they attempt to lodge FIR.

Das further urged the public, not to believe in any rumour and to restrain from mob-violence.
