AGARTALA, June 28 (TIWN): After Chief Minister Biplab Deb claimed in last few days that spiking crimes in Tripura are reasons of constant anti-drug moves led by Tripura Police, opposition CPI-M state secretary Bijan Dhar said, “It can’t be the excuse of increasing crimes in the state. There shouldn’t be any imaginary link painted behind spiking crimes to hide govt's failure, rather govt should maintain law and order strictly. We are not demanding President’s rule but instead blaming others, Home Ministry should take proper action”. “Who brought Yaba tablets in Tripura ? Through IPFT, the BJP brought imported them and now they are politicizing the drug-rackets ? Many allegations earlier came against Manik Sarkar to malign his image but now, all BJP leaders themselves are found in those rackets”, Bijan Dhar told TIWN.

“It was unearthed that "Yaba" tablets are entering in Tripura and is being distributed across the country and IPFT activists have been spotted in this racket. Why BJP Govt is unable to tackle such crimes ?”, Dhar further said.

The reaction from the opposition came after CM said against the hiking murders in the state that due to political reasons and Police’s drive against drugs all murders are happenings.

CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar also pointed in maximum murder cases, BJP activists have killed BJP activists even though may be not in political reason.
