AGARTALA, June 24 (TIWN): Murder accused of Biswajit Pal Pranjit Bhowmik has been produced before the court on Monday afternoon.

Police have sought 5 days police remand for Pranjit at the court as interrogation with the accused yet to be ended.

On the other side, angry locals have vandalized accused Pranjit Bhowmik’s home, blocked National Highway demanding ‘Death Penalty’ for Pranjit Bhowmik.

They also said, Pranjit’s family members can’t stay in Milan Chakra area as they are unable to see a murderer family in front of them.

Medical representative Biswajit murder accused Pranjit Bhowmik was arrested by police within 12 hours of the crime.

 Pranjit Bhowmik was held by police for formal interrogation but soon police along with Pranjit recovered the deadly gun through which Biswajit was murdered on yesterday night and then Pranjit was arrested. 

DIG (Southern Range) Arindam Nath, IG K V Sreejesh were present during the interrogation. After the interrogation, the killer gun was recovered via accused Pranjit.

It’s now almost clear that Pranjit was the killer of Biswajit.
