AGARTALA, June 25 (TIWN): With a shocking note, on Assembly Day-5, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb led State Govt data has revealed in reply to opposition's question that Vision Document's promise of "house to house work opportunity" maximum limited with MGNREGA mandays, however few plans are kept for ITI placement from skill development in next 1 year. The question was asked by CPI-M Ex-Minister Sahid Choudhury regarding what BJP Govt has planned to fulfill its Vision Document’s promises. Replying the question in the first point out of 10 points of Vision Document, Chief Minister Biplab Deb said, “In case of House-to-House livelihood, Govt has planned to give 2 crores of manydays for 5,95,195 active card holders in rural area in 2018-19, whereas in urban areas 20,96,774 mandays to be generated for 64,905 cardholders in urban bodies”.

CM further said, “Govt has planned for placement in ITI through skill development and for that total in 4 IITs placement cell has been opened”.There was no mention about Govt so far.

MLA Sahid Chowdhury further asked on the smart phone issue and social pension hikes, MGNREGA wage hike but on that issue also from govt side, no proper answer could be given.

BJP almost came in power with the votes of 8 lakh unemployed youths as Tripura till day tops in unemployment rate due to lack of industry and other issues. BJP before the election promised to give house to house jobs but in the Vision Document they wrote work-opportunities but today the BJP led state govt has mixed the unemployment issue with MGNREGA mandays which was beyond 'imagination' of youths, whereas BJP before election boosted on 50,000 vacant posts under state govt depts.

Earlier, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb came under controversy after he advised the youths to open ‘Paan Shop’ or to ‘Breed cows’.
