AGARTALA, June 24 (TIWN): After March 3rd BJP's Election win, Tripura expected a tight grip on Law & Order but it is turning worst than Manik Sarkar's CPI-M era as regular murders, crimes spiked up rampantly across the State. Capital Agartala witnessing regular murders as Home Ministry under Biplab Deb loosened its grip so criminals are having a field day targeting victims. A youth has been killed in wee hours on Saturday midnight named Biswajit Pal, S/O-Naresh Chandra Pal in a gunshot by unknown miscreants. The family members have alleged criminal Abhijit Pal has murdered him with whom since few days some arguments had developed and another Paranjit Bhowmik who called Biswajit over telephone. However, till now police haven’t questioned any of them, neither anybody was arrested. In the early morning, when public went out for morning walks, Biswajit Pal’s deadbody was seen laying on road at Badharghat.

Immediately locals called police saying an unknown body had been found and police also rushed to the spot but even after family members allegations, nobody was arrested so far.

On June 6,2018 brutal murder of Raju Lal Das had hit the Capital City Agartala. His body was found with severe injuries at Bholagiri area, where in a little shed he used to live.A local sharp weapon (Da) was recovered with his dead body. Police is investigating the case. 

On June 10, 2018 again a brutal murder of a 65 years old woman Parul Bala Roy had came out. In a nearby jungle her body was found totally burnt and her face left identifiable.

Opposition CPI-M’s four supporters were killed including Panisagar’s Tapas Sutradhar was killed in Talibani style by cutting his neck brutally on June 17 night.

Another old couple who were residing in rent at Sunirmal Chandra Das's house named Chanu Saha (75), Mahamaya Saha (60) were allegedly murdered on Friday  night.

Apart from Agartala, daily murders across Tripura terrifying common people as public safety under severe threat, even people are comparing erstwhile CPI-M era Law & Order was much better than this 3 months BJP era.

Unless State Police machinery enforces strict law & order across Tripura, increase patrolling in nights, crime spree, frequent murders will propel Tripura's name into top rank in national crime graph.

9 am : Police booked one Pranjit Bhowmik for inquiry. 

2 pm :Killer pistol was recovered after interrogating Pranjit Bhowmik. Interrogation continues at AD Nagar police station.
