AGARTALA, June 21 (TIWN): Budget speech at state Assembly led blunder for ruling govt as Finance Minister Jishnu Debbarma has alleged ‘fund deprivation’ by Centre since two financial years.
During budget speech, Jishnu Debbarma said, in last financial year 1713 cores 73 lakhs rupees were not sanctioned by Central Govt. It was said by Jishnu Debbarma on Tuesday while placing budget in the Assembly.
Replying a question asked by Ex-Finance Minister Bhanu Lal Saha, Jishnu Debbarma said, “In 2015 it was expected 4900 crores 65 lakhs will be sanctioned from the central govt but only 4440 crores 57lakhs rupees were sanctioned.
“In 2016 5512 crores 16 lakhs were expected but only 5123 cores 23 lakhs rupees had come”, said Jishnu Debbarma.
After the speech revealed the central deprivation, CPI-M made it an issues claiming heavy central led deprivation under BJP Govt during CPI-M era in Tripura.
