AGARTALA, June 21 (TIWN): West District police have seized huge numbers of phensedyl bottles from a house in Agartala.

Getting informed via secret sources, Police had raided Dilip Debnath’s house in Malaynagar and recovered the phensedyl stocks.

The drive was led by Srinagar Police and Amtali police jointly led by SDPO Ajay Kumar Das. However, the owner of the house has been absconding.

Locals said, since many years complaints were coming regarding this ongoing illegal business but before today police couldn’t spot the crime.

Locals are happy with the quick action of police. Phensedyl, drug business have become much rampant in Tripura and various murders and crimes had been going on since decades centering illegal drug business.
