AGARTALA, June 20 (TIWN): Amid opposition CPI-M’s claim about BJP Govt’s budget is useless and far from Vision Document, BJP supporters held a saffron led mass gathered rally at Agartala, terming the budget as historical.
A massive rally was conducted at Agartala city led by above 500 BJP supporters congratulating the BJP Govt.
The rally organizers have thanked the BJP led Central and State Govt both for making a deficit free budget for the first time for Tripura.
Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarma on Tuesday has placed a budget of Rs. 16,387 crores, with a hike of 14 % than the last financial year. Around thousand crores have been kept for 7th pay commission giving a signal that Tripura Govt will surely allocated 7th Pay Commission for its govt employees.
Chief Minister thanked PM Modi, Arun Jaitely, State Finance Minister Jishnu Debbarma.
On the other side, hike in petrol taxes has been slammed by opposition CPI-M. CPI-M Ex-Finance Minister Badal Choudhury said, “Price hike in fuel means price hike in all items”.
