AGARTALA, September 9(TIWN): Student Federation of India, Tribal Student Union and National Students Union of India organized rallies regarding the upcoming college election in the state at MBB and BBMC here today.

Both the parties are campaigning for the college elections affiliated to the Tripura University, the candidates tried to woo voters by drawing their attention to the problems in education and political system.

We are very sure that we will win the upcoming college elections because the NSUI did not works for the benefit of the students instead of that the NSUI works for them only said a SFI member at MBB college.

We are competing in the election to make college campuses secular. We will also protest against fee hike and setting up of more private colleges at a time when seats in government colleges remain vacant, said a NSUI member.
