AGARTALA, June 15 (TIWN): Ahead of 100 days completion, BJP Ministers have been geared up in action with various issues related to their departments. Health Minister Sudip Barman who since the beginning was focusing to fix the health service of the state today has inaugurated E-Hospital in state for the first time at GB hospital. This was the much awaiting dream project for Tripura has been started with GB Hospital today and soon will be started functioning across other hospitals. Through E-Hospital each hospital will keep the records of patients through digitization. The GB hospital has taken finally a better shape with Health Minister Sudip Barman's surprise late-night visits and tight control over the staffs at there.Chief Minister Biplab Deb has actively engaged in flood areas inspection and today has visited mostly affected Unakoti District. CM has also suspended few officials during his journey.
The Chief Minister has ordered officials to stay active and to assure assistance to the flood affected people residing each corner of the Unakori District.
CM said, his Kailashahar relief camp visit is to ensure that proper facilities are being provided to citizens. “I asked the officials to make sure that timely assistance reaches all the locations across the state”, CM said in a tweet. Tripura is directly getting Central Govt’s help with huge numbers of NDRF have been deployed in state.
On the other side, Education Dept led by Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath has now focused to crack down TPSE corruption and Tripura Govt has constituted a committee to probe the result-fall in TBSE Madhyamik. The committee is headed by 7 members and the Chairman of the committee is Dr Arunodoy Saha, Ex-Vice Chancellor of Tripura University.
The other members of the committee are : 1) Ranjit Kr Debnath (Ex-Director of School Education), 2) Manik Deb (Ex-Professor MBB College), 3) Kandarpa Debbarma (HM behala Bari HS School), 4) Sujit Chakraborty (OSD, SCERT), 5) Lipika Chakraborty (HM Debipur), 6) D Debbarma (Joint Director, Elementary Education Dept).
Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) Exams which went through crucial Assembly election doldrums, shouting, miking, violence and tensions has resulted with 59.59 % passing rate, a sharp dropping from previous year’s 67.38 % passing rate.
On June 13, Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath before chairing in SCERT said, “It has to be spotted whether there was any "quality" in the state Education system in the previous year or not. I can’t do anything in 3 months but the reason behind the fall need to be spotted”.
Education Depts also working to end the teachers crisis in deep rural areas with fresh transfer order likely to be released.
